«Do you know the way to Machu Picchu?» That’s all right, we’ll assume you’re already there After your Machu Picchu  visit, you’ll want to get out of Aguas Calientes village (formerly Machu Picchu Pueblo) as fast as possible (believe us, you really do!) and we’re sure you’ll want to visit the famous Santa Teresa`s hot springs called Cocalmayo and fly like a condor on the South American highest zip line, Visit the local coffee farmers, hike the full day Llactapata Inca Trail,  enjoy a romantic river front dinner with candles, wine or champagne all offered by  Eco Quechua Lodge.  So how do you get to Santa Teresa  from Machupicchu? See below!

After your visit to the mysterious and enigmatic Sanctuary of  Machupicchu, take the 30 minute train to the last station called (Hidro Electrica). Be sure to get the train tickets earlier and some cash as Aguas Calientes is the last place where you will find a cash machine. There are none in Santa Teresa.

When you arrive at the hydroelectric station, take a colectivo taxi directly to the Eco Quechua Lodge. The transfer from the station to our Lodge takes about 25 minutes.
